COOL would not be able to operate without parent volunteers!

Volunteer Hour Requirements

• Families of swimmers in the Blue group and above must volunteer for twelve (12) hours per year (September-August), with the opt-out choice to pay $600 per year ($50 per hour). 
• Orange group swimmers' families must volunteer for four (4) hours per year. 
• White group swimmers' families do not have a volunteer-hour requirement.
• NOTE: Swimmers joining after March will have their volunteer obligation waived for that year.

COOL hosts several meets throughout the year, which play a vital role in supporting our team and creating local racing opportunities for our swimmers. All COOL athletes are entered into these home meets and are expected to participate. To ensure each meet runs smoothly, we rely on the help of our families. Volunteering at COOL hosted meets is both expected and counts toward your annual volunteer hour requirement.

Championship Meet Volunteer Obligations 

When COOL hosts a championship meet (e.g. Age Group Districts), each family that has a swimmer participating in the meet must complete the following additional volunteer and/or officiating obligations:

• MV Districts: 2 shifts per family
• MV Championships: 3 shifts per family

As a reminder, championship meet volunteer shifts are separate from your family’s standard annual volunteer requirement. These events are an exciting opportunity for our team and an essential part of how we support our swimmers and fund our program. To make these events successful, we rely on every family’s help. If volunteer shifts go unfilled $50 fee per unfulfilled shift will be added to your next invoice. Your time and support make a big difference, and we’re grateful for your help in creating a great experience for all of our swimmers.

DISCLAIMER: If you leave prior to August, you still must fulfill your volunteer hours or pay out your remaining hours.
